These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Syllabus Wizard (the "Service"), operated by Fine Art LLC, DBA Hottakes Lifestyle Syllabus Wizard ("Syllabus Wizard," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an educational institution or as part of a school-sponsored account, you represent that you're authorized to accept these Terms on that basis.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at the email below if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or be using the Service through an institutional arrangement with appropriate oversight (see our Privacy Policy for details on school-sponsored accounts).
Syllabus Wizard offers a free trial followed by paid subscription plans, billed monthly or annually as described on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms for the payment method you provide.
Study Groups let you share a course with a limited number of other users via an invite link. Anything you share to a Study Group becomes visible to the group's other members. Don't share a group invite link with anyone you don't want to see that shared content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You retain ownership of everything you create in Syllabus Wizard — your notes, sketches, citations, papers, and any files you upload ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service to you (and, where you use Study Groups, to the members you share it with). We don't claim ownership of Your Content, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Syllabus Wizard uses AI to parse syllabi and generate study materials — quizzes, flashcards, textbook lookups, and citation formatting. AI output can be incomplete or contain errors, including incorrectly formatted citations or inaccurate parsed dates and topics.
The Service itself — its design, code, branding, and features (excluding Your Content) — is owned by Syllabus Wizard and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets beyond what's needed to use the Service normally.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syllabus Wizard won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, grades, or academic standing, arising from your use of the Service — including reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive (like intellectual property and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert Your State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where an institutional agreement with a school specifies otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
